Earlier this year, Swordlord Productions contacted me about doing a piece for use on a website, posters and t-shirts for their upcoming Minnesota Metalfest. It looks like the website has been updated with the painting I did for them, so I can now post this.

This was a very exciting piece for me to work on, because obviously I am a metalhead through and through, and over the years I have seen a lot of artwork for various festivals that has been subpar. I really jumped at the chance to make something that I felt was cool and something that I would wear if I was at the festival. The concept for the painting is based on Swordlord's desire to communicate the "resurrection" of the festival as it has been dormant for years. If you live in or around Minnesota, be sure to mark your calendars for September 7th and get your tickets early!
