A huge thank you!

Emerald City Comicon 2012 is in the bag! I just wanted to thank everyone that stopped by my table. It was great meeting you!

Due to the success of the convention, I am currently out of stock on a couple prints. Specifically, "Nigh", "Universus", and "The Fathomless Mastery" will be delayed in shipping if you order them for a week or so until I get some more from my printer. I apologize for the delay, but it's only because you guys bought so many of them! So thank you again!

I also wanted to thank Kevin and Ian from 99.9 KISW's Metal Shop for having me in the studio last weekend. That was quite an experience! We took requests for things for me to draw while I was there and there were some pretty crazy requests!  Sorry I couldn't get to all of them, but I hope you like the ones that I was able to get to. If you want to check them out, you can head over to the 99.9 facebook page.

I won't be doing any more conventions for the year to focus on making more art (both personal and freelance), so the next time I see you will be at Emerald City Comicon 2013! Stay metal!

ECCC 2012 is next Friday!

Only one week to go to! I hope to see everyone at the show! For easy reference, I made this map so you can easily find the most evil table at the convention!

For directions on how to get to the convention hall and any other information, go to the Emerald City Comicon website.

The Realm of Blade

If you have ever wondered what my art looked like when I was 12 years old (that's 1991 to you youngsters out there), then here is a Tumblr that I made that shows a video game concept a friend and I developed called, "The Realm of Blade". Remember, I was a kid, so the drawings are basically at the very beginning of me focusing on art, but I think they have a certain charm to them, personally!

I'm posting this here because since I decided to make the Tumblr for it last week, it got mildly viral and spread around the net a bit.

So here is the site for it. I hope you enjoy it!

Album Cover of the Month - January

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that voted for my artwork for Behold! The Monolith's "Defender, Redeemist" over at Reign in Art. Not only did it win the best artwork for the week that it came out, but also the best for the entire month of January!

When I look back through that month, there was just some incredible artwork to choose from, too, so it really means a lot to me that people voted for it. Now do yourself a huge favor and order the album from their store. It's an indepedent release (at the moment), but that shouldn't stop you! If you aren't into the physicaly thing, they do also have a bandcamp if you want to stream or grab the digital version. It's getting incredible reviews across the board and speaking personally, I can't recommend it enough.

More news soon!

Thanks for checking back.

Emerald City Comicon '12 - March 30-31st and April 1st.

It's only a little over a month an a half away, so I figured it's about time I talk about this years Emerald City Comicon! This year is going to be pretty cool for me as I have some pretty neat items that are going to be available. For starters, last year I did some work that I was pretty proud of and so I'll be debuting 3 new prints, "Nigh", "Defender, Redeemist", and one that I can't quite show you yet. That is all in addition to the prints that I still have available from previous years.

I'll also be doing another Sketch Card, much like I did last year EXCLUSIVE to ECCC. Last year, I printed 20 of these and they were gone by the second day. So I will be upping the print run to 50 to accomodate people that like to own a little bit of original art.

Finally, something new...I am going to be making some buttons! These buttons are a little different from the tone of the site, but if you have ever looked at my tumblrs, you'd understand immediately. They are called "BABY-Lonians" and they will be packaged on a custom card in sets of 4 (no individuals will be sold, sorry). They depict adorable, cartoony versions of Babylonian demons and monsters. This year I will be debuting series 1 and I plan to do more in the future! So think of them like little trading cards that you can pin on your chest.

Here's Lil Pazuzu as a sample of what to expect!
The best part about these is that they will be 5 dollars for the set or FREE if you buy a print (offer valid at ECCC '12 only)! How's that for a bargain?

Hope to see you at the Con!
