-Beast Wars Megatron-

This was painted for 88mph studios and Hasbro for the controversial, "Transformers: Genesis" artbook that was released in 2003.

While most artists chose Transformers from the '80s, I chose to do pieces from the '90s version, because I felt "The Beast Wars" deserved to be recognized in the book. For Megatron, I tried to add in elements from his toy (the bat wings on his head) that were normally seen as ugly and tried to make them cool. Most artists (including the animators from the show) leave the head-wings off of Megatron when they portray him.
