-Mickey and Pluto-

This is the first in a series of paintings I am doing called "Dark Kingdom".

The idea is to basically take characters from the Magic Kingdom and turn them into a fantasy painting.

In Dark Kingdom, Mickey is King and he watches over his castle and land on his giant beast, Pluto. The design isn't meant to really even look much like the two characters. I didn't want to simply make an evil looking mouse and his battle-dog. I only took the most basic concepts that make up Mickey and Pluto, wrote them down, then used those as a starting point for the piece.

As you can see, he's black, has a flesh colored face, "3 fingered gloves", a big black nose, and the intestines are meant to represent his trousers.

Pluto was a little more vague, so I mostly just went with his color and his loyalty to Mickey.
