-Rattrap (Robot Mode)-

During college, I rediscovered my childhood love of Transformers pretty hard. At the time, "The Beast Wars" was the latest tv show and toyline for Transformers, so by default I ended up getting into that series quite a bit. I was involved with the Transformers online community pretty heavily back then, often doing fan art and creating a few characters of my own.

This was for a fanfic/fanart site that I was creating at the time called "Beast Mutants". It was supposed to be what happened far into the future after the Beast Wars ended.

This character, Rattrap, is a reimagining of an existing Beast Wars character. He transformed into a mutant rat.

Unfortunately my interest waned in the project and I realized that I wanted to work on getting better as an artist. I didn't feel I could do that by painting Transformers and Transformers-like things all the time.
